![]() ![]() - This pointed to files in /Library/Application Support/McAfee which had been deleted by the uninstall program and files in /usr/localMcAfee which were also no longer there.Thanks - Launch Demons and Agents expunged - rebooted ![]() Interestingly the 'new' version of Outlook uses MS proprietary indexing and doesn't use spotlight (However, It doesn't support Exchange (/System/Volumes/Data/SWE/macOS/BuildRoots/d7e177bcf5/Library/Caches//Sources/Spotlight/Spotlight-2150.26/spotlight/server/MDSDiskStore/MDSExclusionQueue.m:127) failed assertion - pop:path decodePop() failedĪnyone got any ideas ? Microsoft are washing their hands as they say it's a MacOS problem and I'm thinking it's something in the Outlook data that's kicking spotlight out. There are 6 instances (the number of times I've tried to reindex) of mds throwing the error message in the attached etrecheck - and copied below. ![]() Searching for senders and keywords is still pretty random - My reading of the tea leaves is that as soon as I force a re-index of the email by adding and removing the ~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/Outlook/Outlook 15 Profiles/'Main Profile' directory from the 'Privacy tab' in System Preferences / Spotlight crashes in within a few seconds - the same error seems to come up each time. A further update - 2 new versions of Outlook later I can see and filter on Unread emails. ![]()
